Ammad Farooq


Ammad Farooq is the Asst. Research Officer at the Institute of Regional Studies. He is attached with IRS since 2016. Initially, he joined IRS as Asst. Director(IT). Upon completion of his Master’s degree and research work, he became the part of IRS research team and started working as a cyber security expert in 2019. He has produced a policy paper on cyber security dilemma. Also presented a paper at International Conference on Fake News & Facts organized by IRS in 2019. His research areas are Cyberwarfare, Cyber Security issues of south asian states particularly Pakistan.
