  • Indian Govt to resume oil imports from Iran
    Tehran, May 28, IRNA --Indian New govt plans to hold talks with Iran at the earliest to discuss ways to resume oil imports and is even looking to pay in Indian currency, "ThePrint" reported on Tuesday.
    Weeks after India stopped oil imports from Iran, the Modi government is keen to resume supply from Iran and is looking at ways to make payments in Indian rupee to get around US sanctions, two government sources told ThePrint.

    Tehran, May 28, IRNA – US Senator Chris Murphy criticized President Donald Trump's contradictory policies towards Iran, in a tweet, and called it a disaster.

    Baghdad, May 28, IRNA – Senior Iraqi political figure on Tuesday expressed its support for Iran's proposal to sign non-aggression pact with Persian Gulf littoral states.

  • Ryabkov to visit Iran to discuss JCPOA
    Tehran (ISNA) – Russian deputy Foreign Minister informed of his upcoming visit to Iran’s capital Tehran.
    Russian deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Ryabkov will visit Iran on May 29 to discuss the situation around 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

    Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in a tweet reacted to recent remarks made by US President Donald Trump in Japan.
    “Ayatollah khamenei long ago said we're not seeking nuclear weapons—by issuing a fatwa (edict) banning them.
