  • Dushanbe and Budapest vow to expand trade and economic cooperation
    Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojidin Muhriddin met with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto. The two exchanged views on mutual cooperation in combating terrorism, extremism and other forms of organized crime. They also discussed opportunities in terms of economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary. According to the Information Department of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held on the sidelines of a two-day conference on Afghanistan that concluded in Geneva on November 28.   • After Ram Nath Kovind’s Tajikistan trip, India hopes to expand strategic presence at Ayni base
